Horton House is a pioneering dairy farm and the Rider family are maverick farmers in every regard. The farm is set across 1,200 acres of organic pasture covering the stunning and historic Wiltshire landscape across the chalk downs and medieval wansdyke earthworks.

For those of you interested in organic, pasture based, regenerative farming, this is a chance to see how and why things are done differently on one of the most important farms in the UK at the moment.

Aside from the farming interest, it's also a lovely day out in beautiful countryside, great fun and very safe for families and children. The BBQ lunch alone will be worth the visit.....!

The practical details then;

The format will be for people to make their own way to the farm, arriving between 10-11am. Postcode SN10 3LX. The drive is about 1hr40 from Twickenham.

We will lay on a big BBQ lunch at around 2pm and then aim to wrap things up by 4pm.

See you there!
